Urgent Notice To All Patients
Monday 25th January 2021
Ashford Medical Partnership is working hard to ensure that services remain accessible for all patients as well as delivering the Covid-19 vaccine programme. We are continuing to offer telephone and video consultations for patients, along with face-to-face appointments when clinically necessary.
It’s important to let our patients know that they may experience a delay in getting through on our telephone lines as several of our staff are either unwell or self-isolating.
Online services continue to be available via the practice website and we would encourage patients who can use these to do so. If you are unable to get through to the practice and you have an urgent medical need, please call NHS 111.
Prescriptions will continue to be processed. Please make sure you order any repeat medication well in advance.
With regards to the surgery receiving Covid vaccines - we are only supplied with what NHS England send down the chain at any given time. The Practice currently has no influence over the amount of vaccines that can be ordered in. In fact, this week, we are only supplied with as little as 200 vaccines
If you are awaiting a Covid vaccine, please do not call the surgery. We will contact you. Our phone lines are exceptionally busy and you may be preventing someone that’s very unwell getting the help they so vitally need. Alternatively, you can send an e-Consult or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
We would like to apologise to all our patients for any inconvenience and thank them for their support and understanding as we take the necessary steps to keep patients and other staff safe from infection and protect the NHS.
We would finally like to wish our staff a safe and speedy recovery at what is a worrying time for them and their families. We very much look forward to resuming normal services once our staff have returned back to good health and are able to leave self-isolation.
